Warnings and Spoilers for
Spinning Out of Control

Caleb is in an off-page car accident where he is severely injured and the other driver dies. He talks about the fear and pain he experienced at the moment of the crash and after he wakes up in the hospital. He recalls various surgeries, physical therapy, and trauma survivor groups. Caleb recalls that his friends abandoned him or did not know how to talk to him, and he deals with feelings of loneliness and grief for the loss of the life he had. He talks about chronic pain that is not helped by medication, and he briefly mentions potentially giving up and not being around anymore, though he does not specifically say suicide. He does mention that his parents are confused about his pansexuality, but they are supportive of him and do not say anything negative about his sexuality or about monsters. Caleb does encounter two men on the street who make crude comments about his appearance, and he ignores them but is visibly and emotionally shaken by it.

Teracht talks about the mating habits of his species, which include the male tying up the female with webbing to subdue her while impregnating her with his penis, which breaks off inside of her to fertilize offspring. When the female gets free, she captures and devours the male. These are only spoken of in passing and do not occur on-page.

Teracht and Caleb explore each other's bodies in a non-sexual manner. Teracht and Caleb engage in several rounds of consensual bondage, wrapping Caleb up fully except for his head while blindfolded, restraining his limbs, and a primal chase scene. Teracht uses various sex toys on Caleb, including a vibrating butt plug and a strap-on harness. All sexual scenes between them are fully consensual and have a safe word in place, though it is not used.
